Soonr is a software company that enables secure mobile access over any mobile carrier's data network to
applications on any Internet connected PC.
By registering with Soonr, visiting and/or using the Soonr Website (“Website”) and/or downloading
Soonr Software (“Soonr Software”) you agree to accept this Code of Conduct as a contract between
you and Soonr. The services provided by Soonr and enabled by the Soonr Software are referred to
in this policy as the Soonr Services (“Soonr Services”). We refer to those who have registered
with Soonr and/or downloaded and use the Soonr Software as users (“Users”).
This Code of Conduct remains in force as long as you continue to use the
Soonr Software and/or Website. The Code of Conduct is not exhaustive, and Soonr may choose to modify it
at any time without prior notice.
You agree that you are entirely responsible for the files you choose to upload
via the Soonr Services. You also agree that Soonr has no liability for
material or other harm caused by the actions or files uploaded by Users
of Soonr Software, and you agree to remove from Soonr all indemnity arising from the legitimate administration
of the Soonr Services.
You recognize that Soonr may, at its discretion, share uploaded files as
it deems necessary with law enforcement officials if subpoenaed.
Soonr reserves the right to delete material uploaded through the Soonr Software,
remove the User’s account, and otherwise suspend access to and use of the Soonr Services for the following
reasons: 1) violation of this Code of Conduct; 2) actions we reasonably believe are misrepresentative, fraudulent,
or illegal; 3) accessing, or attempting to access restricted information, or files that you (or other Soonr
Users) do not have legitimate access to; 4) automated or fraudulent creation of Soonr accounts; and 5) as
determined by Soonr. Uploaded material or access to the Soonr Services may be suspended or removed without
notice.
Not all files or file types are acceptable for use on Soonr. You agree not to upload the following
prohibited files:
- Files that represent or are part of illegal and/or criminal activity.
- Files that violate any laws, regulations or community standards.
- For international Users of the Soonr Services, this includes all applicable local laws, controls, and
restrictions on the export of data to the United States.
- Files relating to, representative of, or constituting Child Pornography.
- Files that interfere with the legitimate use of Soonr Services by the company or other Users, including:
- Files that modify adapt or translate all or part of the Soonr Software and/or Website.
- Files, scripts or code that reverse engineers all or any part of the Soonr Software and/or Website.
- Unauthorized copies of copyrighted work.
The Soonr Services are not meant to be used for the distribution of copyrighted
material by anyone other than the copyright holder, their authorized agents, or those with proper permission
to distribute the material. You are prohibited from using the Soonr Services to upload, transfer,
trade, or otherwise distribute copyrighted material that you do not have privileges to do so with. Soonr
also reserves the right to remove any copyrighted material it finds in violation of this code of conduct.
Although you are free to use the Soonr Software to upload the files on you
computer desktops for access via your mobile phone or another computer, Soonr may, at its sole discretion,
remove all record of these files from its servers. Materials that do not fall under the scope
of acceptable use of the Soonr Services, and may be removed, include:
- Files that are deemed by Soonr to be reasonably offensive, harassing, exploitative or harmful to other
Soonr Users or a particular group.
- Files that promote or abet criminal activity or illegal action.
- Files that contain viruses, Spyware or other harmful computer code.
- Files representing copyrighted material not expressly licensed, contracted to, or owned by you.
You will not use the Soonr Software to transmit, either directly or indirectly,
or facilitate the transmission of any unsolicited bulk or commercial email
("Spam"). Similarly,
you will not use the “Invite” feature to threaten, disrupt, inflame, intimidate, libel, stalk,
defame, or defraud anyone.
Soonr reserves the right to change or update this Code of Conduct, and you are encouraged to periodically
check this page for updates.
